David Terry – DPT
David Terry graduated from Radford University, Radford VA, in 1997 with a Bachelor degree in Physical Education with a concentration in Sports Medicine. He became interested in physical therapy while working as a technician at Pulaski Community Hospital in Pulaski, VA.
After graduation, he moved to Fernandina Beach to soak up the sun and be closer to his dad. David worked as a personal trainer while pursuing his Associates degree from Florida Community College of Jacksonville's Physical Therapist Assistant program. David joined to the team at Nassau Physical Therapy in 2001 as a PTA.
In January 2006, he began the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, St. Augustine FL. David received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in April 2008. After training in a variety of clinical settings he decided to return to Nassau Physical Therapy because of their emphasis on outstanding patient care. The opportunity to work with a skilled, experienced clinician like Jim Marino was invaluable.
David and his wife Sara welcomed a beautiful baby girl, Molly Kate, in October 2009 and are now expecting a baby boy due in August 2011. They also have a dog, Annie Belle, which David enjoys walking along with golfing and working in the yard.
